How the process works

A camera inspection confirms the pipe condition and locates the exact endpoints. We excavate two small access points: one at the connection to the city main, one where the sewer exits your foundation. New HDPE pipe is fusion-welded into a single continuous section.

A hydraulic bursting head is pulled through the existing pipe, fracturing the old pipe outward while simultaneously pulling the new HDPE line into place. The new pipe is connected at both ends, a new cleanout is installed, and a final camera inspection verifies the installation.

Most Superior pipe bursting projects are completed in one or two days. Restoration of any excavation areas follows.
