Contour is not a general dig-and-replace contractor. We specialize in underground utility work using technology that most contractors in this region do not own or know how to operate.

You will work with equipment that matters. Milwaukee HD camera inspection systems. Hydraulic pipe bursting rigs. Blue-light CIPP lining systems. Directional boring. Skills that are transferable, in-demand, and genuinely hard to find in the Northland.

Who we are looking for

You do not need to know everything.
You need to want to learn.

Experience in construction, plumbing, utilities, or excavation is a plus but not a requirement for every role. The qualities that matter most to us are reliability, work ethic, and a genuine interest in doing the job right.

Reliable and prepared
You show up on time, you are ready to work, and you communicate if something comes up.
Comfortable working outdoors
This is the Northland. Winter does not stop us. A good attitude and the right gear both help.
Mechanically minded
You do not need to be an engineer. You need to be curious about how equipment works and willing to learn.
Coachable and team-oriented
Strong crews are built by people who give and receive feedback without making it personal.
CDL or willingness to obtain one
Not required across all positions, but preferred for truck driver roles on the team.
